Abhijith Jayanthi is a dynamic first-generation entrepreneur with a wealth of experience in Renewable Energy and Industrial Infrastructure. With a global perspective gained from working across India, the Far & Middle East, and African geographies, Abhijith brings a unique blend of expertise in business diligence, strategy design, investment advisory, and asset management.
His diverse professional journey includes serving as a Consultant to the World Bank, where he spearheaded technology-related initiatives focused on renewable energy sources such as Solar Technologies and Rural Energy Access Initiatives. Abhijith has also contributed significantly as a member of various prestigious organizations, including serving on the Audit Committee of Wikimedia Foundation and as the Chief Executive Officer of Andhra Pradesh Brahmin Co-operative Credit Society, a Government of Andhra Pradesh Undertaking.
Outside of his business ventures, Abhijith is deeply passionate about youth empowerment. Through his Non-Profit – OLIVE Foundation, he works tirelessly to create livelihood opportunities for youth in vulnerable areas. He is also associated with several international non-profits and bodies, including TakingITGlobal, The Pixel Project, and UNFPA, where he contributes to initiatives aimed at driving positive social change on a global scale.
Abhijith holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (Power) from IIT Delhi and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Management from the University of London (LSE). He is a certified energy manager (BEE) and has acquired diplomas/certificates in various domains, including Innovation and Entrepreneurship from the Graduate School of Business, Stanford University, and Religion from Harvard University.
In his leisure time, Abhijith enjoys exploring new places and cultures, having visited an impressive 83 countries. With his extensive expertise, unwavering dedication, and passion for making a difference, Abhijith is committed to driving positive change and creating lasting impact in the world.
